Here we are in Wurzburg, Germany, Playing the Stramu festival which was made a lot more fun by the legendary Mark Gillespie and Thomas Drost who took us under their wings and let us use their massive sound system. We rocked it!

A nice thing about travelling and performing is that you cross paths with some really great photographers and have a mutually beneficial photo moment… heres some of my top pick pics from the summer of 2009… mainly from ludwigsburg in southern Germany, and one lil snap of Ruben in Macedonia…

Whoa, what a face… I guess being in hungary was kinda exciting for me. Simon and I had just spent a few weeks on the croatian coast, bumming around and busking, and basking… So it was nice to be back in the saddle, so to speak..

.

For some reason, there are no photos of simon here.. oooppss…

Wow!!! The Bern festival was epic, for a lot of reasons. 1, because it was the first show where I had miss Clare and mr. simon together onstage… even though it was clare that introduced me to simon and recommended I take him on tour (”I just think things will be so much easier with simon there… I think we´ll fight a lot less”) We had never actually played all together before. It was a dynamic shift for sure
2, because I was really sick with a stomach bug and could hardly stand up. Lots of coffee got me through…
and 3, Because Bern is just the best organised festival ever, everything just perfect and the audiences really attentive …and generous!
